Birch Realigns and Commits to the Partner Channel with Continued Investment

Birch has some exciting news for the partner community.  We have aligned our sales organization more closely with the indirect channel as the next and most critical step in the execution of our strategy to grow by leveraging the strength and reach of you -- our partners.   Because we recognize the increasingly valuable role that partners play as trusted advisors to customers, we see our partners as our leading driver of future growth and our most valuable distribution channel.

The importance of partners to our business can’t be understated, and we hope that focusing our resources on expanding our channel program illustrates our unquestionable dedication to delivering a best-in-class experience to the partner community.  What this means to you is access to the products and services your customers demand, a robust and industry-leading partner support model, and access to more of the resources that you need to be successful. 

Many of our partners have been with Birch a long time and through their tenure came to know us for our voice and data service or our Fiber Network.  In recent years we’ve quickly evolved and adapted to the demands of IT organizations with the addition of cloud services, offering new products such as UCCaaS and TotalCloud® PBX, to our already robust solution portfolio.  We’re still a powerhouse when it comes to POTS services, and in June we will be offering a new VOIP product, Voice Essentials, as a next generation product for POTS. Now our customers will have a choice of managed voice services, whether it be POTS or VOIP for their business services.

As we have expanded our core competency as a service provider, we’ve also been focusing on the growth and expansion of our partner program.  Over the past year we’ve increased our development spending to improve partner tools. Recently we rolled out a new partner tool  by interfacing our quoting into MasterStream™.  Also we have significantly expanded our dedicated partner support teams; including more National Channel Managers, Partner Quote Desk representatives, and Partner Sales Support team members.

Additionally, we have successfully launched the Birch Platinum Experience for your customers to deliver simple and seamless activation and support on our full line of business solutions complete with expert training, design engineering, and 24/7/365 phone & online technical support. As your partner, we’ve got you covered so that you can focus on growing your business.

We want to assure you that this change is a positive one for our partners, and your current business with Birch is important to us.
